  • How long can I store video on my DVR/NVR?

    This depends on variables including hard drive size, motion or continuous recording, frame rate per channel, and image resolution per channel. We determine the hard drive size based on how many weeks of recording you would like to save.

  • Do I need battery backup for my security camera system?

    Yes. We recommend an Uninterruptible Power Supply. If you have a power outage, your security cameras will be powered and your DVR will still record. We typically include a battery backup in all of our quotes. This helps to protect your property from people who’d like to take advantage of a power outage.

  • How long will it take for you to install a security camera system?

    Most installations take less than a day and we work with you to choose a day that is convenient for you.

  • Can I view live and recorded video remotely?

    Yes. You can view live and recorded video from anywhere with an internet connection. This can be done on a PC, Mac, and any mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet.

  • Are there any monthly fees associated with your security camera systems?

    No. Once you purchase the system, you own it. There are no monthly fees.

  • Are these cameras weather proof?

    Yes, all of the cameras we use are weatherproof. They are IP66 or 67 compliant - which means that they have been tested and found to be completely dust proof and waterproof against strong jets of water. They are able to withstand the harshest weather conditions and temperatures.
