AXIS Security Camera Install at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Fire Department

At Security Cameras of Columbus, we work with every industry. From small business, to non-profit, to enterprise organizations, to the federal government, we strive to meet every customers' needs and budget. We recently completed a comprehensive security camera installation at two fire stations for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. AXIS Communications cameras are the most popular brand for federal and state governments because of their industry leading IP camera technology. For a military installation, network security is of upmost importance. For this particular set-up, we recommended the AXIS P1435-LE HD Bullet Camera, the AXIS M3205-LVE HD Dome Camera, and the AXIS P5655-E HD PTZ Camera. For live view, recording, and easy control, we set-up AXIS Camera Station to manage the system. The team in the communications room uses a joystick and keypad to quickly operate the PTZ cameras, and to easily navigate to PTZ presets.

AXIS P1435-LE is a security camera ideal for 24/7 video surveillance, in exposed outdoor areas such as parking lots and service stations, and for general indoor surveillance purposes wherever a compact camera is needed. The camera offers a wide or tele lens alternative. This bullet-style camera was perfect to cover the exterior portions of the fire department.

Additionally, you can add support for audio using AXIS T61 Audio and I/O Interface enabling you to listen in to transactions or incidents, or even communicate warnings to intruders. Vandal-resistant and outdoor ready, the camera comes with a weathershield, and can be mounted on walls, ceilings and junction boxes using the included mounting bracket. This camera was used for interior sections of the fire department to give wide-angle coverage of the vehicle garages.

AXIS P5655-E HD PTZ Camera

  • HDTV 1080p at up to 60 fps
  • 32x optical zoom
  • Lightfinder 2.0 (lowlight color) & Forensic WDR
